Granite Bay, CA – August 6th, 2009 Luxury Home Magazine and Julie Smith & Associates Interior Design Host Fabulous Event for Clients

When Luxury Home Magazine first partnered with Julie Smith & Associates Interior Design in early 2009, both parties knew that they were a match made in heaven. Catering to high end homes and high end clientele was a common theme that both companies have done successfully in their respective fields. It is not uncommon to find homes in the magazine that have been designed by the team at Julie Smith & Associates. In fact, the quality of the designer and her firm are so synonymous with luxury that their services are often included with the sale of a home as an added incentive for the buyer.

Following their theme of shared clientele, Luxury Home Magazine and Julie Smith & Associates put a plan in the works to host a special “Realtor Appreciation Night” for the areas finest real estate professionals. Luxury Home Magazine used its networking and client list to build the guest-list and promote the event while Lisa Smith of Julie Smith & Associates put together the game plan for the evening, even going as far as catering the event herself. As the event planning progressed, more parties jumped in offering door prizes and raffles. The donated items included a fine area rug by Jeff Frerich’s Flooring , products and services by The Spa at La Borgata , an original painting by Theresa Fike , a stay at the Albert Shafsky House Bed and Breakfast , services by Lynn Greene photography , and even a full page in the December issue of Luxury Home Magazine . Lisa Smith, designer with Julie Smith & Associates, also donated a special catered event for the drawing. Lisa debuts her first cookbook later this year.

As the evening came and went, all parties agreed that it was a great success. It was an intimate affair with friends, colleagues, new faces, and new partnerships. The attendees enjoyed amazing cuisine and splendid beverages, all in the warm environment of the Julie Smith & Associates luxurious design showroom in Granite Bay.

A similar event is planned for later in the year, with all proceeds donated to a local charity.
