Austin, TX – April 13, 2021 – This iconic Lake Austin masterpiece known as Willow Beach is situated in West Lake Hills on 8.8\u00b1 acres, with 665\u00b1 feet of Lake Austin water frontage, plus a private lagoon! The luxurious masterpiece is named Willow Beach because of the willow trees planted by the original owners of the land. This contemporary award-winner is a secluded paradise, but just minutes from downtown Austin. The guest house alone was featured in Architectural Digest. The entire award-winning house, guest house and pedestrian bridge was also featured in Miro Rivera\u2019s architectural book of contemporary masterpieces. None can compare!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A one-of-a kind rare black limestone sink graces the powder room and is cantilevered from the wall. You will have to ask about the story of how this sink was built. And, that\u2019s just the half bath! Wait until you see the eight other bathrooms! Another cantilevered feature is the hidden stairway that leads to a media\/game room and office on the second level. The great room, 1,000 sq. ft., is enclosed with glass on both sides. The glass windows and sliding glass doors stretch from floor to ceiling as does the fireplace. Its hearth is made from a solid slab of book-matched soapstone. Because of the glass windows, all bedrooms (seven of them) have views of the wetlands that line the private lagoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kitchen is indescribably sensational. You will need a personal chef to do it justice. Some of the many unique points of interest in this home include custom-quarried rough-cut Lueders limestone and imported woods. The luxurious award-winning design is achieved with African sapele throughout the main house and Brazilian Iper throughout the Guest House. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One favorite note of interest is the main house wall, molded like the bow of a boat, seamlessly curved. Amongst the many splendid estates on Lake Austin is this unique West Lake Hills design by Miro Rivera Architects. Built by Don Crowell, the interiors were crafted by Fern Santini. Most of the furniture is hand-built and custom designed specifically for the Willow Beach. So extraordinarily special, it took 11 years to complete from conception to finished estate. Even getting permits to build on a peninsula with water surrounding three sides was a one-of-a kind effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
