About the Listing Agent<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ann Newton Cane<\/a> has real estate in her blood; she was raised on a large cattle ranch near the Oregon-California border, where her parents and siblings still live.

After graduating from the University of California at Davis in 1986 with a major in Rhetoric, Ann joined the then-upstart MCI, selling telecommunications services. She raced through the sales ranks, earning every MCI honor possible for taking business away from the behemoth AT&T. She remained at MCI following its merger with WorldCom Inc., managing the company’s relationship with key global accounts such as Time Mirror, Nissan, First Interstate Bank, Kaiser Permanente, Amgen, and Wells Fargo Bank.

Dick Notebaert, CEO of Qwest Communications (now CenturyLink) persuaded Ann to join him as Qwest’s Director California region, responsible for West Coast global accounts.

Ann took a break from full-time work to raise her two children, Paul William III and Katherine. Ann then devoted herself to community activities and other volunteer work, including service on the College Preparatory School’s Board of Trustees; leadership positions in the National Charity League; Parents’ Club President at the Orinda Intermediate School; Swimming Chair of the Meadow Swim and Tennis Club; President of the Homeowners’ Association of the Grand Lodge in Deer Valley, Utah; and service on the Membership Development Committee at the Claremont Country Club in Oakland.

Ann is married to a lawyer, Paul Cane, and their children both are now studying at (and competing in swimming for) Dartmouth College.

As an empty-nester, Ann decided to further pursue her passion for sales in Lamorinda real estate.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael Dreyfus<\/a> has had over 25 years of repeated success in residential real estate. He currently ranks as one of the leading sales agents in the Silicon Valley\/Peninsula area and has regular appearances on the Wall Street Journal\/Real Trend\u2019s list of America\u2019s Top 250 Agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His recent sales have been often and varied, including some of the highest sales recorded in Palo Alto, Woodside and Atherton. He has also sold homes in Menlo Park, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mountain View, Portola Valley, San Carlos, San Mateo, and has established a specialty in the high end market and the neighborhoods of North Palo Alto. In addition, he has represented clients in high-end resort purchases throughout California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As well as being an active sales agent, Michael is President, Silicon Valley for Golden Gate Sotheby\u2019s International Realty. He is an industry thought leader and has been interviewed on CNBC, Bloomberg TV, ABC News and Fortune\/CNN\/Money regarding market trends and events. Along with blogging and regular newsletter writing, he has also written a real estate column for The Palo Alto Weekly and is the founder of The Peninsula Magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Attorney-at-law. He is a member of the National and California Association of Realtors, and the Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Tahoe\/Sierra and Southern California multiple listing services. He is active in the community, having served in various school and athletic positions, on the Board of Directors for the Palo Alto Art Center Foundation, and as a director on the Save the Bay foundation board. He is a long time financial supporter of local schools and charities and is a regular sponsor of the Palo Alto Art Center\u2019s Glass Pumpkin Festival, The Gamble Garden Association\u2019s annual Palo Alto Garden Tour and Castilleja School\u2019s Arts with a Heart event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
