Juan G. Aluma has since been a long time resident of South Florida. He is fully bilingual and is equally comfortable doing business in both Spanish and English. He started his real estate career in 1997 working for a condo-hotel chain in Miami Beach while he attended Florida International University for Industrial Engineering. Juan G. quickly became an accomplished Sales & Marketing Executive traveling extensively to establish business relationships with South American, Canadian and North Eastern travel agents and condominium hotel real estate investors.

Finance and investments were always his passion, so in 1999 he decided to pursue a career as an investment adviser and successfully obtained his series 7 and series 63 securities license. He worked as a junior stockbroker for one year trading telecommunication company stocks, but quickly realized that his true passion was rooted in Real Estate investments; and decided to go back and do what he knew best. In 2004, Juan G. Aluma co-founded and presided over “Caribbean Vacation Properties”, a luxury real estate development and management firm in the Caribbean. Under his eight-year tenure, CVP grew to become one of the largest real estate management companies on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, which successfully developed a series of boutique resort hotels, luxury vacation villas, and acquired a substantial portfolio of prominent vacation rental homes.

Back in Miami, his adopted hometown, he joined Berkshire Hathaway under The Denise Rubin Group in Aventura, Florida, and has specialized in upscale investment properties, commercial real estate and luxury real estate.
