In 2015, Ashley and her husband, Ed Brown, founded Selfless Love Foundation (SLF) to provide foster youth with the same opportunities and dreams that she had. Through SLF, foster children are connected with forever families, youth aging out of care are supported, and advocacy efforts impact the entire foster care system.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”50″][vc_single_image image=”7636″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”50″][vc_column_text]Looking to the future, Ashley shares, \u201cSelfless Love Foundation aims to transform child welfare.\u201d Dedicated to impact, One of their major achievements was the passage of Florida\u2019s first law to protect the photos of children in foster care who are available for adoption. This victory sparked a national vision, with SLF planning a federal law to extend similar protections across the U.S. Each year, SLF hosts a National Think Tank, gathering child welfare experts from over 40 states to discuss policy improvements. The foundation believes in collective impact\u2014coming together to drive positive social change in foster care systems, including adoption, youth support, and policy reform.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”50″][vc_single_image image=”7635″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” qode_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”50″][vc_column_text]Since its inception, Selfless Love Foundation has made a significant impact: serving 845 families, housing 636 aged-out youth, finalizing 506 adoptions, providing 13,474 hours of leadership and life skills training, and partnering with 115 agencies.<\/p>\n

Ashley emphasizes that for children in foster care, stability is crucial. \u201cChange is their only constant\u2014moving homes, schools, and making new friends. They need safety, love, and guidance.\u201d SLF\u2019s programs are breaking cycles of abuse, addiction, and abandonment, offering hope for a better future.<\/p>\n

On March 29th, Selfless Love Foundation will host its 10th annual gala, featuring live performances and a live auction, with all proceeds supporting foster youth find families, go into adulthood
\nand advocating for systemic change.
