Monica is also very actively involved in many philanthropic endeavors throughout Austin. She has served on the board and/or has volunteered for organizations such as Any Baby Can, Dell Children's Hospital, Young Men's Service League, United Way, Austin Children's Shelter, Junior League, My Healing Place, Lake Travis Education Foundation, Ballet Austin, and numerous school PTO boards. She was once a nominee for the "Citizen of the Year" award in the Lakeway/Lake Travis area.
