Christine McNelis, Broker-Owner, is an experienced professional and dedicated merchant in the Solomons Island Community. A native of Annapolis MD, then a resident for many years of Washington DC, Chris now calls Southern Maryland home.

In 1991, Chris became a REALTOR® for a local independent broker, winning platinum sales volumes records. She continued to build her expertise from 1999 to 2006 as a branch manager for a large franchise brokerage, managing 1600+ transactions annually and approximately 80 sales associates, at two locations.

Restless for an even greater challenge, in 2006 Chris decided to set up her own Real Estate Brokerage business, The McNelis Group (TMG), on the beautiful Patuxent riverfront in Solomons. Each year since 2006, TMG increased residential and commercial market share in the Southern Maryland region.

Still focused on growth, in 2016 Chris took the Company on an exciting new venture, when The McNelis Group became an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices to become Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices McNelis Group Properties.

With vital connections in the Southern Maryland business community, Chris maintains strong relationships with clientele, colleagues, and support professionals. She is able to connect with local businesses and to welcome non-local businesses and assist with their acquisition, development and relocation. With both Chris’ commercial and residential experience, she can support an entire transition and relocation.
