09 Jun High Point’s Spring 2025 Market
Written by Lauren Wicks

Kravet x Brown Jordan shows off an assortment of mid-century outdoor furniture with exceptional fabrics, designed especially for versatility, taking your outdoor living to the next level.
This season’s High Point Market, every spring in High Point, North Carolina, had us reinvigorated to reimagine our spaces for alfresco entertaining and to bring a deeper sense of texture and personality indoors. We’re highlighting our favorite design trends (and pieces!) that feel suitable to the South Florida lifestyle and aesthetic that still leave plenty of room for creative interpretation to help you transform your own home into a deeper reflection of you.

Bring On the Resort Vibes
Several brands left us more excited about the future of decorating out-of-doors with thoughtful, transportive creations. The collections that left the greatest impressions featured inspiration from some of our favorite travel destinations that translate beautifully to outdoor rooms in South Florida. Whether you have a sprawling patio or a cozy balcony to work with, there is plenty of inspiration to be found.
We’re loving Kingsley Bates’ latest launches that are inspired by breezy destinations such as Spain and the Caribbean, while we are also jonesing for the mint green aluminum seating options from the Meredith Collection that feel suited for a New England summer garden.

Pieces from Brown Jordan x Kravet’s brand-new outdoor furniture collaboration look straight out of a Slim Aarons photograph, offering a bit of mid-century Palm Springs (or Palm Beach) flair to your outdoor room. And we can’t stop thinking about High Point newcomer, Business & Pleasure Co., whose vibrant striped umbrellas and seating will transform your deck into a bonafide beach club. (Positano is getting too crowded, anyways.)
Luxe Lighting: Indoors and Out
Lighting has been getting quite the design attention lately, and deservedly so, as many experts believe it to be one of the most under-appreciated elements of home decoration that offers such high impact.
If you’re looking for something grander in scale, be sure to check out Ro Sham Beaux’s Paul Chandelier. It features exquisite rattan work with touches of natural Mother of Pearl or Agate at the base, creating an alluring yet serene touch that makes it a radiant centerpiece for any room.
New on the scene (and our latest obsession) is Pooky x The Novogratz’ accessible, stylish lighting options. We can’t wait to bring their latest launch to our porches and patios. The U.K.-based brand just debuted rechargeable outdoor lighting to the market, with helping us nail the perfect ambiance at any time of day with colorful lanterns, sconces, pendant lights, and more.

Organically Inspired Details
Considering nature is an endless source of design inspiration, it’s no wonder we gravitated towards several High Point Market vendors’ collections that embraced organic colors, textures, and materials. Some favorites include Pom Pom at Home’s new bedding collection, especially the Laguna Ocean Throw, that features materials such as flax, linen, and bamboo for au naturel luxury. Palacek impressed with a clever take on rattan seating found in their Strings Attached lounge chairs that pair mini strands of bundled abaca rope with the ever-popular natural fiber for a more contemporary interpretation.

Art in Unexpected Places
As residential design trends increasingly become about showcasing personality, prioritizing showmanship of one’s collections versus shopping one showroom for all their needs has become of greater priority. This has caused many vendors to lean more deeply into craftsmanship and color to produce spectacular collections. Consider Ann Gish’s fresh take on classical motifs in her new collaboration with The Met, Dragon, that offers something for every type of aesthete.
Taylor King’s Fortuna Chair in Talavera Sapphire commands the attention of any room, and it definitely caught our eye. Covered with vibrant blooms, colorful butterflies, and intricate detailing, the chair is brought to life. Its bold use of color makes it a standout piece that is perfect for elevating a room.

Ultra-Femme Furnishings
Give us all the yesteryear glamour that’s popping up in interiors right now! Caroline Gidiere’s seating room at this year’s Kips Bay Palm Beach showhouse nailed this trend, and we are excited to see more brands jumping on board, such as Coley Home, which just debuted a slew of sculptural seating options that feel both playful and polished. We’re especially loving the Ivy Swivel that can be customized with fringe detailing (there are also matching stools and ottomans), as well as the decadent U-shaped Sully Banquette that’s an update on one of the brand’s most popular offerings.
