Ivester Jackson claims top honors for Affiliate of the Year by Christie’s International Real Estate, winning the Overall Award!
Charlotte, NC – March 13, 2018 – Charlotte area’s dominant brokerage in sales above $2 million recognized for excellence in luxury marketing for 2017 at network’s recent global conference. Christie’s International Real Estate, the world’s leading luxury real estate network, honored Ivester Jackson as winner of the coveted Overall Affiliate of the Year award, the pinnacle in marketing for all network brokerages regardless of size across the global network. Ivester Jackson joins past winners – Daniel Féau of Paris, France, and Chestnut Park, of Toronto, Canada – with this prestigious distinction.
Owners Reed and Lori Jackson accepted the crystal obelisk trophy at a gala dinner and presentation at the world-renowned Alvear Palace Hotel, an icon of Belle Époque grandeur in Buenos Aires since 1932. They were unaware of their win until that evening’s announcement by Dan Conn, Chief Executive Officer of Christie’s International Real Estate, before a crowded room of network colleagues.

Four awards are given each year, three of which are determined in the small, medium and large market categories with the top honor bestowed to the overall winner regardless of market size. The criteria used in determining the four winners are overall business innovation, market leadership, passion to succeed in the local and global marketplace under the Christie’s International Real Estate brand, and collaboration with network colleagues and Christie’s art auction house specialists. Ivester Jackson excelled in every category.
Mr. Conn noted in his remarks: “Since joining the Christie’s International Real Estate network four years ago, Ivester Jackson has grown more than 200%, nearly tripling its annual volume. In the Lake Norman market, the company has closed 16 of the 21 highest price sales in 2017, including a record $5.6 million transaction, in which its agents represented both buyer and seller. The company is now the top seller of estate homes valued at over $2 million not only in the Charlotte region but also in North Carolina, responsible for the sale of one of every three homes in the region listed over $2 million. Reed and Lori Jackson attribute this success to fully harnessing the power of the Christie’s brand.”
The brokerage’s notable achievements in the past year include:
- Joined with Greenville, South Carolina Affiliate, Blackstream, to open a new brokerage entity with offices in the vibrant town of Asheville, North Carolina – the first collaboration of its type in network history
- Hosted Christie’s Head of Wines and Spirits, Noah May, who led tastings in a tour of multiple homes totaling over $10 million in Pellyn Wood and attended by almost 100 of Charlotte’s most affluent residents
- Attended every annual Owner’s Conference in its four-year affiliation and recently serving as expert panelist in the business sessions
- Highlighted an international network colleague in each issue of the company’s Portfolio of Fine Properties magazine – spotlighting their businesses and top properties. Affiliates from Australia and Mexico were among those featured.
